# Change defaultValue

there is an addDefaultValue and dropDefaultValue. Looks like modifyDefaultValue got missed, though.

Hi,

in older days, there was changeColumn, but this has been deprecated in favor of&nbsp;modifyDataType, which only lets one change the datatype.

Is there a controlled way (without using ) to change the default value for a given column?
