# Store Procedure with special characters

Dear all,   
  
I am new to liquibase and trying to use it in my current project. At this moment, I need to create a stored procedure and this is the code

1. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; CREATE PROCEDURE MVLOG(IN period INT)
2. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BEGIN
3. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; INSERT INTO dblog\_archive
4. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SELECT \* FROM dblog
5. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; WHERE log\_date \< DATE\_SUB(CURRENT\_DATE(), INTERVAL period DAY);
6. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; DELETE FROM dblog
7. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; WHERE log\_date \< DATE\_SUB(CURRENT\_DATE(), INTERVAL period DAY);
8. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; END;

Obviously, if i put it into the tag, it will make error during parsing xml since the “\<” in the procedure code. How can i overcome this issue ?

nevermind. CDATA do the trick. I am an idiot ☹
