DATABASECHANGELOG table and the filename column

Are the filenames that are stored in the DATABASECHANGELOG table included in the checksum calculation?

Or could I UPDATE that column manually?

I am under the impression that a checksum is based on the contents of a given changeset only, and not on the file that it happens to be part of.

The filename is not part of the checksum, so you can update the table if you feel safe doing so.
