Hey everyone! We’re building a real-time monitoring web app for Liquibase database changes. We put together a short demo of the wireframes, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. We want to incorporate your feedback into the design and early development.
Love the enthusiasm! Right now, we’re in the wireframing stage, so there’s not a local copy to play with yet. But there will be in the coming weeks! Here’s how to make sure you’re at the top of our list of Alpha/Beta users for Liquibase Hub…
We’ll be discussing ideas from users like you right here on the forum, so if there’s something in particular you want to see or do with this new tool, let us know! We’ll be listening.
Thanks for posting this @kevin, @symekutz, would you like a demo using wireframes? We are gathering feedback and this is a tool for team collaboration. If you are working on a team and are wondering how to figure out what db changes are in what database.
Hi. Great idea!
To be honest the first few minutes got me puzzled, but the follow up explanation revealed some strong use cases. I feel it would be very useful to have such visual overview of the db migrations across all the connections. The pipelines feature seems particularly effective.
Huge changelogs (100s of changesets) may be a challenge. Maybe pagination or grouping/ filtering based on some changeSet attributes would help.
@Arkadiusz - thanks for the feedback! I forwarded it to Pete/Ben (our Liquibase Hub product owners). If you have a second, I’d love to have @caroline setup a short Zoom call between you and Pete/Ben so the can hear your feedback in person. Would you be okay with that?
I think Caroline has already reached out to setup a short call with Pete to hear a little more about your initial confusion and large changelog issues with Hub. Looking forward to more details around that feedback. Thanks!
