Sql Server Permissions

Relatively new to Liquibase, so be gentle.

I’m trying to setup a login/permissions in Sql Server for Liquibase. Does anyone know what permissions are required for Liquibase to work properly against Sql Server (or maybe where this is documented). I’m hesitant to give it blanket admin/owner rights on the database and would like to restrict the login to having the minimal permissions necessary.

I’ve searched through the forums and docs and couldn’t find any answers.

These are the permissions that we document for DaticalDB, which is based on Liquibase. Since Datical DB does quite a bit more than Liquibase standalone, some of these will not apply.

SSIS: list, view, run, export all packages. Run all packages in SQL Server Agent.
