Support of MongoDB 7.x and 8.x

The documentation of the mongodb extension tells that supported versions are only MongoDB 5 and 6.

Will the extension support MongoDB 7.x and 8.x in the future? Has someone already tried with those new versions?

Hi @godo57,

According to what I talked with our team it should work with version 7, but from an OSS perspective quality of it is not certified. Anyway, you can give it a try if you wish and see how it goes. Regarding version 8, our PRO team is giving on support for it, but again in a near future it will be a similar case to what I just mentioned for v7.
