"Update Failed" when creating changelog from existing database

Hello there,
so sorry if this or something similar to this has been asked before - I have looked quite a lot and not found an answer…

Having just tried the product for the first time, i’m running into failures when trying to create an inital xml file of my current DB.
<br - rather it seems to be joining the seperate values with all sorts of fun stuff (I don’t know if this kind of thing is normal in the error output).

Any help would really be appreciated!
