What should be the default java.sql.Types.VARBINARY mapping?

I’ve been having a look at the various binary data types across various databases and…what a mess, both in the databases themselves and in Liquibase.

Here is one example near and dear to my heart.

Informix defines a BLOB Liquibase string types.)
